Völkl's R FIS SL race ski offers easier handling than the World Cup model for smaller, lighter-weight racers at the U14 and U16 levels. These top-level slalom skis feature World Cup technologies, including the Tailored Carbon Tip, where carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material for precise torsion control. This offers a direct and reliable shovel response, allowing a more direct approach at the gate. The two-layer Titanal, multi-layer wood core and full sidewalls provide dynamic stability.
